Initiated in 2020, at that time called Multiservicio Multiservice, Yei Tochtin stemmed out of an idea to try something new. We began interpreting for political events in person and online in NYC thanks to the insistence of colleagues. Enjoying the feedback we received we continued and decided to provide services as a small business. We've enjoyed remote interpreting, meeting new clients and colleagues nationally and internationally.
To date we have worked with leading schools, philanthropic organizations, literary institutions and grassroots movements across the country from our base in New York state.
Yei Tochtin (YAY toatch-tin) comes from Nahuatl and it means 3 rabbits. Nahuatl is a language spoken in certain parts of Mesoamerica and Central America.
Three rabbits reflect our small business journey filled with creativity, empathy and intuition. We worked to capture the 3 in our logo.
Ali Toxtli is a public anthropologist with over 10 years working in areas of bike and pedestrian mobility, public health, food co-ops, public art and project administration.
We work with clients to build up their efforts and knowledge of their audience. Quotes depend on event variables that stem from the culture your team is building weighing your internal budget, use of space and time.
We'd be happy to learn more of what you're thinking.
