Interpretation

We work with trusted and similar visioned interpreters to ensure quality, tone and cultural register (localization). Interpretation gear can be available based on nature of project.

Interpretation is when you take one language and convert it into another language via the verbal form. Generally it's categorized just as translation yet they are different crafts and markets.

We offer interpretation between English and Spanish either in person or online. We can offer gendered interpretation or craft inclusive language.

Examples of settings are presentations, meetings, forums, panels. Mainly in social issues, policy and climate but always open to all topics.

Types: Simultaneous, consecutive/ bilateral and whisper.

Modes: in person, remote simultaneous and video remote, over the phone.

This is when the interpreter converts message into another language on par when original audio is being shared. This can happen thanks to physical equipment such as receivers and mics and add ons available for online meetings and happens parallel to event.

The interpreter converts message into other language directly following the original audio. An example would be the speaker sharing their message in pieces to allow interpreter to share. Both speakers and interpreter communicate in the same space one after the other.

The Spanish language has a specific gendered format that details masculine and feminine. Inclusive language opts to craft language to forms that conveys beyond that binary. 

There are two approaches and both require a creative shift that can meet your goals. Indirect non binary language and direct non binary language.

Indirect would be shaping language to generalist terms and direct is to center and present the non binary. 

Our base is a rounded approach that meets goals for inclusion and audience reception.
