Yei Tochtin (YAY toatch-tin) comes from Nahuatl and it means 3 rabbits. Nahuatl is a language spoken in certain parts of Mesoamerica and Central America.
Our Fees
We concentrate on being thorough and opt to receive as much information about your organizational goals, program budgets to make a custom fit. Our intro call will determine if there's alignment meaning that agreed upon events have an extremely high chance of success.
Each project is different and we've seen a correlation with need of high quality interpretation/translation in underfunded, solidarity initiatives. Projects could be offered a discounted or pro bono fee.
We travel across the US for in person interpretation and collaborate internationally for translation-interpretation.
Here are numbers that serve as a base for first time clients. Please note that length, location, prep, complexity and additional items are used to build estimates.
$150 hourly base for co-interpreted projects
$225 hourly base for single interpreter projects
Payment in full upon agreement of terms. Retainer agreements available for increased flexibility and priority.
